Spiced Golden Milk
We love golden milk and had been wanting to create a Shanti Chai version for quite some time! While we love the mellow and grounding flavour of turmeric and the deep golden hue that it adds, we also love zip and zest - so added lots of it with ginger and black peppercorns. Cinnamon and clove round out this blend with an earthiness and delightful aromatic qualities. This is a warming and delicious Spiced Golden Milk, especially yummy made with a generous spoonful of local honey, maple syrup or sugar.
Brewing: Add 1-2 tsp of Spiced Golden Milk mix, 1 tsp coconut oil and 1 cup of milk (or milk substitute) to small pot and bring to near boil. Sweeten to taste.
